Lt. General Garba Duba

Coupled with his responsibility as an independent Director and Chairman of Leadway Pensure PFA Limited, he is the Chairman of NNDC and Non-Executive Director of First Bank of Nigeria Plc. He was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1962. He attended the Indian Military Academy as a full Combatant. He was ADC to the Military Governor of Northern Region, Nigeria and became Military Governor of Sokoto State in 1986. He was appointed Commandant of Nigerian Defence Academy in 1992. After thirty-one years of active military service, he retired in 1993 into private business and farming.
