NSITF

The Pension Reform Act (PRA) 2004 provided that contributions into the National Provident Fund (NPF) and its successor scheme the National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) referred to as the “old scheme” should be transferred into members’ Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs).

To this end customers who were members of the “old scheme” are required by NSITF (now Trustfund) to update their records on Trustfund’s website - http://www.trustfundpensions.com

Customers are also required to provide LPPFA with the following documents:-

  1. Original NSITF membership card;
  2. Copy of I.D Card (National I.D, Driver’s licence, Employer’s I.D);
  3. A duly completed NSITF Transfer form.

In the event that a customer has lost their NSITF membership card or was never issued with one, they will be required to provide a sworn affidavit to that effect and an indemnity letter from their employer whilst in the NSITF scheme, stating that contributions were remitted for them and confirming the loss of the certificate.
